Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines set forth the rules for participating on Wepinion. By using our platform, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Wepinion has a zero tolerance policy for content that promotes illegal activity, violence, or harm. Violations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities.

Strictly Prohibited Content

You may not post, share, or engage with content that:

Illegal Activity

Promotes, facilitates, or relates to any illegal activity, including but not limited to drug trafficking, fraud, theft, or violence.

Violence

Threatens, promotes, or glorifies violence against any person or group. This includes content that encourages or facilitates physical or emotional violence to others.

Self-Harm & Suicide

Promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide. If you or someone you know is struggling, please visit our Crisis Resources page.

Child Safety

Any content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors in any way. We report all child exploitation content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Hate Speech, Harassment, and Bullying

Intentionally bullies, harasses, or directly threatens other users including coordinated attacks, targeted harassment, and sending unsolicited explicit sexual content or solicitations.

Terrorism

Promotes, advocates, or recruits for terrorist organizations or activities.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Vote Manipulation: Manipulate votes using multiple accounts, bots, or coordinated campaigns
Impersonation: Impersonate other users, public figures, or Wepinion employees
Circumvention: Circumvent any access restrictions, bans, or security measures
Interference: Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
Data Harvesting: Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without authorization
Commercial Use: Use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
Spam: Send unsolicited messages or post repetitive content
Ban Evasion: Create new accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

Automated Access & Data Scraping

You may not access, search, or collect data from the Service by any automated means without our prior written consent. This includes:

Automated collection of user profiles, Expert Scores, or voting data
Bulk downloading of decisions, votes, or user-generated content
Using bots, spiders, or crawlers to index or collect Service data
Circumventing rate limits, CAPTCHAs, or other access controls
Using the Service to train AI/ML models without authorization
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service

Enforcement

Unauthorized access is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to seek injunctive relief, actual damages, statutory damages, and any other remedies available under law.

Content Moderation

Wepinion employs both automated systems and human review to identify and remove prohibited content. We reserve the right to:

Remove any content that violates these guidelines
Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or severely violate our policies
Report illegal activity to law enforcement
Cooperate with legal authorities in investigations

Reporting Violations

If you see content that violates these guidelines:

In-App Reporting: Use the "Flag" option on any post, comment, or user profile
Email: Contact us via our Contact page

We review all reports and take appropriate action. False reports may result in action against the reporter.

Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may take the following actions:

Warning: Notification that content or behavior violates our policies
Content Removal: Removal of violating content
Temporary Suspension: Temporary restriction of account access
Permanent Termination: Permanent removal of account and all associated personas
Legal Action: Reporting to law enforcement or pursuing legal remedies
